Q1: What is Hikari Press?
We create personalized children’s storybooks where your child becomes the main character.
Q2: Are all books the same size?
Yes. Our books are typically 21cm × 21cm.
Q3: How many pages are inside?
It depends on the title. Some books are around 20 pages, others 30 pages, plus covers and extra pages.
Q4: What languages do you offer?
Currently Arabic, French, and English. More languages may be added later.
Q5: Can you list all available titles?
Our catalog changes frequently (we add/remove titles). The best way is to check the Website—only listed books are currently available.
Personalization & preview
Q6: What do you need from me to personalize the book?
Child name, photo, age range, and book language.
Q7: When do I see the preview?
You see the cover preview after placing the order (COD). Then we call to confirm details before creation.
Q8: Can I edit my order after ordering?
Yes—during the confirmation phone call or by contacting support before creation starts.
Q9: What if I typed the wrong name or uploaded the wrong photo?
If the mistake is from your submitted details, it’s considered a customer error and not eligible for free replacement/refund.
Payment
Q10: How do I pay?
Cash on Delivery (COD) in Algeria.
Q11: Do you require a deposit?
Sometimes. If you order 3 books or more, we may ask for an advance deposit (often 2000 DZD, sometimes more depending on the order). We confirm this during the phone call.
Shipping & tracking
Q12: Do you deliver everywhere in Algeria?
Yes—coverage is all Algeria.
Q13: What delivery options exist?
Depending on your area/carrier: Domicile, Stopdesk, and Express.
Q14: How long does delivery take in Algeria?
Usually 2–3 days, but it can vary by wilaya, commune, and carrier.
Q15: How do I track my order?
We may send a tracking link by SMS, and you can always track via www.HikariPress.com/tracking using your Order ID or tracking code.
Q16: Do you ship internationally?
Yes, to many countries via EMS (up to 174 countries). Delivery timing depends on the destination and EMS.
Returns & problems
Q17: Can I return the book if I change my mind?
No. Personalized books are made-to-order.
Q18: What if there is a printing defect?
Contact us within 5 days of delivery with proof (photo/video). If confirmed as our fault, we fix it (replacement/remake/refund case-by-case).
Q19: What if the package arrives damaged?
You must refuse the parcel with the carrier. If you accept it, we may not be able to replace/refund shipping damage.
Q20: What if delivery fails and the package returns to sender?
We may ban future orders from accounts/numbers that repeatedly cause failed deliveries.
